Polar Rivers

The British Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge made a clever "polar" map of the world’s rivers, each reoriented with mouths pointing towards the center, categorized by continent via line style, a scale of concentric circles radiating outward. The maps preserve meanders and include the important peaks, ranges and towns that sit by each river, as well as labeling the territories they pass through. The map’s contrived hydrological wonderland is fun to explore: "So the Alps are in Guyana...and Dublin is a stone’s throw from the Danube..."
